When all seems for naught, distance longer than you can take

When you see obstacles as intolerable, too difficult to relate

If you hold onto your self, your everlasting soul

You’ll find the strength to realize, you’ll find the strength to show

You may decide to wallow, linger on self destructive ways

You may decide to let go, you may decide to embrace

If you see what’s true inside you, maybe one day you’ll say

I’ve suffered long and hard enough, I’ll give myself a break

Essentially enduring until I see

If I let go of what’s not of me, one day I’ll be free

I’ll know what is real, I’ll not waste another day
