A bright light is shining over there,

yet if you stare,

If you are aware of

Adjusting eyes to let in less light,

bright dusk artificially, a reflection of nature on itself

Of streetlights and the city of neon signs

Refusing to let us see, heavens lights shine

When our day to day existence is lacking flavor

Are you running from danger, or just fooling yourself?

Why do we always seek while darkness surrounds?

Yet.

When light abounds we struggle to diffuse…

I’ll remind myself now, what we see is more than just lights and sounds
