When you encounter an abuse of power, extortion, threat of force, it is nauseating if you seek the higher good. It can be hard to believe, because it goes against truth, because it goes against rationality and empathy.
Try to take this as an opportunity to fight for what is right, these challenges give you a mission and a quest.
For me, I am referring to the abject abuse of authority officers of the “law” exert by issuing a seemingly endless slew of meaningless tickets meant to keep their salary well taken care of. I also mean the courts who support them and the laws making them immune to any sort of equal standing, elevating them by use of implied force to assess you as guilty until proven innocent, a mockery and the opposite of whet the constitution stands for. There are many issues to fight for, and this is just the tip of the iceberg on lawful corruption but this is what I have right now so it’s where I’m starting.
Shouldn’t we be asking what gives an officer the right to force someone to stop their vehicle and take their money for supposedly going too fast? The vast majority of human beings want to get along and keep things flowing smoothly but we are lead to believe everybody has this horrible mob or free for all mentality but I just don’t believe it, call me naive if you must. I think and feel I am able to self regulate and I don’t need an authority figure looking for any excuse to take my money. Why must we have officials? Why must there be some humans who are set aside as if they are better and wiser and they reign down judgement? Most officers I’ve encountered do not seem very high IQ, many are overweight… I believe this is what happens when authority relies on force rather than truth. I wouldn’t trust them to protect me and as a free human being I want to have the strength to defend myself and the backing of the law to do so. This reminds me of differing parenting styles. Fear versus respect. I believe if you yell at a child rather than explain to them you teach them authority is more valuable than truth to you and often leave them feeling contempt and resentment.
This is all related to taxes as well, the socialist ideology says if the government doesn’t tax everyone heavily and redistribute the money more evenly then we won’t self regulate and all of the money goes to the few. The capitalistic side allows for abuse of the worker and creates a stagnant class who becomes dependent on credit on the one hand and welfare on the other if it’s a blended socialistic capitalism. This credit then further keeps the rich getting richer off of interest rates mainly for those not making enough to get by and making too much for welfare. The welfare then subsidizes the low wages. All the while the illusory middle class is taxed and taxed by any means necessary, useless license plate stickers, bartending licenses, brewers permits, gaming license.
I was very close to launching a craft brewery a couple of years ago and I had to meet with a state special agent and pay a fee and wait for 7 months to get registered. One would think this would ensure a safe product, as an authority based on truth would, but no. I can tell you there were no safety related questions, no required testing of my beers. This was another example of an excuse to add another tax to feed the bloated monster of the state.
I was a licensed pharmacy tech as well, this at least required a test though it was very easy, it still was another fee to pay after I already did the classes online and was certified. Apparently the state is more valid of a test giver than a company who has their own text books and teachers.
I am currently a table games dealer for a casino and the amount of law enforcement surrounding the whole thing is ridiculous. I had to speak to a special agent of course and get licensed through the state. There is always a state marshal, I think maybe his title was marshal? The whole reason for this is they wouldn’t dare let an opportunity to tax any gambling winnings to a high degree and on a regular basis. They are even adding more casinos to the state now.
I don’t relish my work, it’s easy for the sake of playing simple enough games all night for really decent money but overall who I am as a human being finds it a very negative environment where the main ideology is greed and superstitious gamblers with so much money that could be used for productive things like starting businesses throw it all away…
If one wants to go fishing they need to buy a permit for that as well. If they see you without one, you guessed it, more fines! You might say well at least they stock the fish and such, true I suppose but where is all the other tax money going? Should vegetarians get a tax refund because they object to hunting and fishing? Before you say they aren’t paying for permits the rangers would still get hired and paid a salary through taxes regardless.
There are so many ways we are taxed it’s ridiculous. Every single time we get paid, anything we own… it’s like really you rent the land from the government.
If you’ve ever heard the term bread and circus, there is no better example than what is happening today. We are all outraged but were also majorly distracted because even though most of us either owe creditors or schools or are just taxed out of a savings, entertainment is more accessible than ever. Now I love movies, shows, music, video games, books… but I do feel we are using them as an escape rather than just to enjoy and experience art for arts sake.
It seems harder than ever to effect real change. I thought hey what if we all refuse to pay taxes, what would they do? What if we made our own currency and just refused to comply, all of us? What if we just defended our freedom together? What if we made this the United States of the truly free?
I’m debating starting my YouTube channel finally and starting with a discussion about this. Let me know if you have any thoughts.
